Stealth Mode: The United States disappears from maps

We here at the Killentime laboratory have observed an interesting phenomenon: twenty percent of Americans cannot find the United States on a map. To be honest, we find that statistic to be shocking and we decided to investigate. Is this some shortcoming of public education? Are mapmakers suffering from spacial amnesia? Did aliens steal the United States? Have the men in black finally erased everyone’s memory? Is the federal government employing some new anti-terrorist stealth technology? Has the United States ticked off National Geographic? As a public service, Killentime has launched an in-depth investigation.
